Intellect Strategies Inc (ISI) is a think tank and business development operation. We serve clients who have services and/or solutions that help improve the quality of people’s lives in terms of efficiency and performance. We are creating a new division TappedIn DC and seeking to take the overall concept of social networking to the next level by reintegrating interpersonal relationships into those ever increasingly popular modes of electronic interaction that have become – by their nature – virtual, very much to the exclusion of direct person-to-person communication.

We are leveraging social networking sites as Facebook, MySpace, Plaxo, LinkedIn, Twitter and others and use those vehicles – along with the vast numbers of individuals they impact – to drive a new form of personal interaction designed to produce expressly different results for a select target audience. We are creating new mediums to form connections to help businesses and non-profits grow exponentially. We are looking to create an eco-system of where people truly understand the art of giving without the intent of receiving in order to establish trust, loyalty, and quality in one’s social network.

The “products” through which TappedIn DC will foster such interactions will take the form of regularly-scheduled events – each one a several-hour event including an informal reception, presentations, instructional sessions, dynamic and relevant speakers, with occasional venue-specific interactive attractions (e.g. bowling at Lucky Strikes, Filming events at Newseum, or games at the National Aquarium) and live entertainment. But these will not be just be ho-hum events. They will be powerful, dynamic, attractive and appealing … events with a significant enough “WOW!” factor to bring patrons back again and again and again. The purpose of these events however is more than just social … the mission is to create live, interactive opportunities for attendees to help others attain their goals, in the process make progress toward their own goals, regardless of whether those goals are business-related, fraternal, intellectual, philanthropic or personal. And in support of these events, Intellect Strategies is also considering incorporating another product, those being classes and seminars – at a different time, date and venue – to help prepare attendees to maximize the associated benefits of attending these functions.
